Church leader in Papua, the Government of the Most Responsible for Papua conflict

Jakarta, The leaders of the churches in Papua declared independence and sovereignty of the region already crystallized related to the systematic violence that still occurs in the territory of Papua and the left by Jakarta.

The meeting was conducted in the library at the residence of the President, accompanied by Vice President Boediono and several ministers of United Indonesia Cabinet volume II.

"In order to dialogue in question, we urge the President to immediately stop the Operation Completed Matoa 2011 which was held in Paniai from the date of December 12 that killed 14 people, injuring dozens more and burn the villages," said Jemima.

In addition, church leaders also wanted the central government to withdraw troops from Papua non-organic, free political prisoners; and Revoking Government Regulation no. 77/2007 on regional emblem which prohibits the use of symbols nuanced separatists in Aceh, Maluku and Papua.
