The parade will then leave Oxford Castle Unlocked and head through Bonn Square, Carfax, the High, and finish at Oxford Botanic Garden.
The event starts at 11.30am on Monday 25 May in the courtyard of the Oxford Castle Unlocked.
Residents and tourists will be able to see the ceremonial robing of the new Lord Mayor, Councillor Mary Clarkson, Deputy Lord Mayor of Oxford, Councillor John Goddard and Sheriff of Oxford, Councillor Elsie Benjamin.
The idea of the parade is to bring Oxford together, tourist and local attractions, town and gown and west meeting east.
Following the Lord Mayor’s Parade there will be a picnic in the Oxford Botanic Garden, with music, dancers, stalls and children’s activities.
The Lord Mayor’s Parade rounds up a week long celebrations of Oxford’s twin town partnership with the German city of Bonn.
