Sentani Papua --During the year 2011,
there were 18 people under five in Jayapura District, tested positive for HIV /
AIDS. This was disclosed Secretary of the Commission for HIV / AIDS Commission
(KPA) Jayapura District Drs. Purnomo told reporters yesterday in Sentani.
"The 18 toddlers aged
respectively from one to four years," he said.
He mentioned, infants with HIV
/ AIDS is transmitted through the mother. Where the mother before conception
had been infected by HIV / AIDS.
